Used the fursona generator and I really fell in love with these two at 3am. Still need names for them.
I think they will live in a small area of japan with their adorable tiny bakery.
Cobra is originally from Japan, and was a troubled teen, but his grandfather sent him to culinary school in London. speaks english for the most part, but will switch to Japanese when he’s frustrated, angry, or talking to himself. He’s got tattoos everywhere, including a dragon that starts at the end of his tail and goes across his back and ends at his chest. He is venomoid, but not by his own choice. He is very protective of Sheep. Albino Monocled Cobra.
Sheep is from London and met Cobra at a culinary competition. She can speak fluent Japanese but is so shy and anxious around other people that she forgets sometimes and ends up speaking in english to Japanese customers who can’t understand her! She’s easily flustered and cries a lot over tiny things, but Cobra is always there to make sure she feels safe. She is a Hebridean sheep with the 4 horns, but she files them to keep them small and under her wool so she won’t frighten customers. She is very kind and loves children. Her eyes are completely black, but hides them under her wool. Even Cobra has only seen them a handful of times.
While Cobra was the top of his class, she completely dominated the competition and they ended up hooking up. He stayed with Sheep for the rest of his culinary school degree until he graduated. They had originally decided to stay in London to try and open a bakery, but Cobra’s grandfather passed away and left him with a very large sum of money and a small house in the middle of a small town. They moved back to Japan and opened the bakery there. A small garden is in the back of the store, which customers can sit in the back and enjoy the plants and ponds.
aaaand I literally made all of that up just now, enjoy xD
Will probably do more art of these cuties later.
Did this last night while I was hanging out with friends on my laptop. It’s huge on the working size omg I learned some fun stuff while working on this.
Colored sketch for Charli of her Jellybean! First time I’ve drawn a goldfish, I hope he looks ok! ;;
A few tips everybody should consider. I’ve experienced all those and some more. I’m not good at english but I hope you get it. Go and support some artists out there and let them draw you nice shit. Not as nice as FairyNekoDesu but still will be cool so give them a chance and you’ll be surprised.
All of these things.
Especially the deadline. If you don’t have a deadline thats way in advanced it’s not gonna get done by then. I am almost always taking on a ton of projects at once and sometimes need a break from it to: work on stuff for me, work on stuff for friends, search for jobs, be the work slave of parents, actually relax and try to relief stress, technical difficulties, researching on how to do stuff, ect.
Sometimes it’s done in a day. Sometimes it’s done literally a year later. But I always update the people I work with so they know I haven’t forgotten.
Do NOT rush your commissioner. Let them work at their pace and it will be worth it. Rushing them insures a rush job which will very likely make the quality decline.
All this is true. Also, ref sheets are the most important thing ever. I can’t stress that enough. They make the job A LOT easier (instead of having to compare 10 different pics between each other and see that everything fits, you just look at 1!!) If you plan in commissioning your character a lot, or even if its not yours (like from an anime or something) Either commission one or look for ref sheets of the show (because there are!).
Also i strongly suggest not using Instant Messaging. Information can be lost pretty easily there and it’s hard to come back to it. Use emails instead. The info stays there, and it’s easy to search for it. It’s also an excellent way to keep track of the descriptions, so if either the client or artist made a mistake, you can see the email threads and see who’s right straight away.
also pushy clients LOVE instant messaging. Pls no.
All of this ^
Oh god yes this.
whoops my hand slipped
Silver shepherd, but thinking about making the points tan instead of silver idk.
Based off my own Shepard character. Everyone just calls her Alex.
To make her partial head/hands/tail/feet it’s going to be roughly $250 :/
